RE: Favorite Ground beef recipes, any new ones?

Cheeseburger Pie
2 cans crescent rolls
1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
1 can tomato soup
6 slices american cheese
Mix ground beef and tomato soup and let simmer while you assemble the crust. 1 can of crescent rolls for bottom of pie plate, make a crust. Pour in ground beef mixture. Top with slices of cheese. Make top crust. Bake until top crust browns.
My mom used to make a cheeseburger pie, that was topped with mashed potatoes then cheese.
How about meatloaf? Oven porcupines (meatloaf with rice in it, baked with a tomato sauce over the top), Tamale Pie (chili, with corn, kidney beans, etc, topped with jiffy cornbread mix) Swedish meatballs, Italian meatball sandwiches, etc...
I think I could go on all day....

RE: Please suggest a red wine.

Probably a Syrah would be one of the sweetest of the reds..although no reds are really going to be that sweet....
Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Merlot are all reds as well, but not as sweet....big bold flavors, lots of tannins which are the "scrubbing bubbles" that you are looking for..
I believe that white wines also are good for the heart...try for a sauvignon blanc, or fume blanc. They are sweeter than their dry counterparts (chardonnay, pinot grigio, etc)....

RE: AGW 3

I'm thinking, to avoid any confusion that we should rename this event for this year to ADW (All Dudes Weekend) :B
Wont matter what you call it you will still get rebel girls like me asking where the girls weekend is!:B
Somewhere in Palm Springs at a resort, with a pool and swim up bar. Cute cabana boys running around in banana hammocks...

RE: Packing it in 12' Garage

Okay now we have two more things to figure out...
Did you get rid of the trailer of the Rhino?
Is a ranger really better for the 5 seater, and is it as good as a Rhino?
I've never seen a 5 seater Rhino unless you're talking about a bench back seat instead of bucket seats. (You would have to have realllllyy little kids to fit that one..) IMHO The Ranger has a longer wheel base making it not as agile, and easier to get "high sided". We have some friends with the ranger, and it just can't go where we can...

RE: Eventful End of Our Trip this Weekend

Off the top of my head, I am unsure of the tire size. They are the stock tires from Keystone and not sure if they were 15's or 16's. We only drove about a mile before I got off the interstate. Will probably look to replace them all in the spring.
That explains it right there. Those tires are notorious for blowing out. You are lucky that the tread didn't do any major body damage in the process. This has happened to many people. We had a blowout that ripped off the underside bin by the back stairs, and bent up the metal skirting in the rear right panel...

RE: Packing it in 12' Garage

I second Rhino Ron's answer. If you want a 5 seater, you are going to end up with a Ranger. They are several inches wider than the Rhinos. I don't see how you could get both in there. JMHO

RE: Those poor Bluehairs

OK, here's your first flamer....
Why do you feel the need to impose your choice of "music" on others. Do you really believe that everyone else within earshot enjoys it? Or you just do it to irritate others? How would you like it if the Bluehairs blared church organ music at you?
And most of all, why bother to pay for a campsite at all? Just stay home & blow out your own eardrums.
Now that is the funniest thing I have ever heard... First of all, what is this campground and paying thing you speak of? We live in Southern California. If Derwud is camping, you can bet it's with friends that also enjoy the same type of music. You can also bet that "most of the time" it's not in some pay per day camping ground, but out in the open desert.

RE: Anyone else run out of room in there toyhauler? Suggestions

Those toys will get you in trouble every time. If you want, I will take that Polaris off your hands. To show you what a big heart I have, I won't even charge you for taking it and relieving you of some of your current "lack of space" problem. :B
Thanks for the offer but I would rather just give you the 08 KTM 530EXC-R. Can you help me out with that one instead, Please....:B
I'm interested...please see my pm to you...

RE: green chile pork roast

Leo.. I make something like this quite often. I usually take a large onion and slice it, throw it in the bottom of a lined crock pot, top with a pork loin roast, Salt, Pepper, Garlic, add a couple cans of green chiles, and a can of green enchilada sauce. I let it cook all day, and shred. Use it in tacos, burriots, enchiladas, ......the list is endless and it is easy and so good....

To be clear, spectators are discouraged due to the danger.
That's why we'll be camped 6.5 miles south west of the launch :W

RE: Utah Passes ATV Street Legal Measure

One thing to remember is that Utah requires all riders under 16 to have passed a safety test prior to riding in their state.

RE: Ditched Mammoth for Utah

It was a hard decision but after taking my family to Mammoth for eight years in a row I decided to branch out and hit Utah for our summer vacation. Beautiful scenery, weather and nice people. Hope to head back next year.
Very nice...... can you give out the coordinates where to camp and ride? :W
Howie, I think he camped at King Creek campground at Tropic resovoir. We love that area, and are headed to Richfield next week.
Philip, thanks for posting the photos.
